I just seen this movie for the 1st time and man was it exciting. It's strange that I first see this right after Trump sad some not so nice things about Afgan people. I happen to work in a HEAVILY Afgan neighborhood. Most of them came here after assisting American Armed Forces back home. Helicopter pilots, combate harded war vets. That killed for this country.
Short and Sweet. I live this movie, because it's a true insight to Adam Sandler *probably* as a young famous comedian. The Big House Effect scene, was something the average person wouldn't ever think of. But I'm 1000% sure he's seen what money and fame can do to women & also men being there worst selves. It's hilarious and disturbing all at the same time. Also as somebody who worked in entertainment for a short spell in an assisting role knows how Seth Rogans character felt and dealt with. Not the same scenarios but the same pressure to do wrong for an idle who holds the key irreverence & income.
I remember watching this as a kid that age. Played Pee Wee football & little league. Also Ray Townsend youth Bball Actually ended up playing college bball. As kid who was picked, & sometimes cut this movie made me believe to never count anybody out. Corny yes.. Going from worst to 1st is real in every aspect of life. Yes we know the fringe kids are going to win. In some dramatic & unbelievable fashion. But it's like a romantic comedy. We know these 2 oddly paired people are going to end up together. But what makes life exciting is enjoying the journey. With the belief things will work themselves out. Btw this is one of few movies that didn't suck after rewatching as an adult.
