Watched this with my girlfriend the other day. I wouldn't normally watch a romantic comedy but it was Valentine's day and the trailer looked good. I have to say though that i thoroughly enjoyed this film and so did my girlfriend. The story is sweet and I loved the soundtrack! In particular I liked the lead (Nadia Jordan) and Rex Lee (from Entourage) is good in this too. Highly recommended if you want something that both you and your significant other will enjoy!
I had never heard about the Room before I saw this film but the story is fantastic and Tommy Wiseau is truly one original character! The Disaster Artist is funny and interesting and James Franco does a great job portraying Tommy Wiseau. After I saw the film I was intrigued so watched some of the cast interviews that James and Seth Rogen had done where they talk about the backstory and its truly fascinating. Highly recommended!
I saw Dunkirk in a pre-screening before it was out for the general public and I was very surprised that it got the reception it did. In all fairness if you're reading these reviews to decide if it's worth watching or not odds are you are probably going to like it because so many people seem to but I can't for the life of me understand why. I think the soundtrack is just plain bad and mostly droning. I never felt emotionally attached to any of the protagonists so couldn't care what happened to them and overall it just feels like nothing really happens throughout the whole film. I'm a huge fan of Christopher Nolan in Inception and Dark Knight but this is a dud as far as I'm concerned.
