This film is painful to watch . Every take ,every scene is painfully slow and extra long , is this was edited correctly it would be a short movie less tan 20 minutes . I have watch a lot of movies in my life but the stillness of this ,the History that is her tall the huge lack of dialogue of soundtrack and the about ending , literally watching this made feel stupid. No hints , no closure of any thy subject , and old photo that leads no where .this thing really taste it my nerves and I was tented to stop the movie ,absolutely nothing to the whole thing .Is just EMPTY ,devoid of a tale to tell. 1 boring waste of film.

This short history is a mess , Dates , Alcazars by another name , confabulated . And when the "Historian " said Don Quixote was slave , I just about choke on my wine . Don Quixote is a Fictional character created by Miguel de Cervantes .... Cervantes was enslave not Don Quixote. The whole visigoth , the dates when the Alhambra was first built , etc so many thing so wrong . A mess of misinformation . They need it a different Historian with real facts . The French Historia was much better . I am sure Historians at universities in England laughed at this guy for saying Don Quixote was a real person and an slave of the moors.

This FRENCH film is getting a bad rap for no reason is a great story , very visual , great story... remember Never Ending Story ... great fantasy story , a classic now .. Valerian delivers entertainment so well that made me forge TRUMP for over 2 Hours , That alone is worth 10 stars
