While the performances of the cast r touching the story is so overly shallow when it could ve been a fascinating story abt a privileged family going through turmoil.

The main character is depicted as this stoic woman who removed herself and her kids from their old life without any obvious conflict + hardship. What about their privilege as a connected family with money? I m sure the real eunice was a great person but why couldnt the film show at least some depth of her. And also how about showing this wealthy family compared to what a regular person had to go through in this period of time. Creating a story that could ve been captivating.

Its such a superficial movie. While the topic is interesting+ the film itself is not more than a tear jerker. A lost chance of making something significant.

This series showed that there is still creativity in the entertainment industry.

Please make more of those shows. It is a fun + scary watch . S1 + s2 r both equally great + deliver creepy stories + eerie sets.

I loved how they chose a really unique art direction with kind of claustrophobic sets + truly quirky styling for the characters and it works! Its never wrong to take stylistic risks.

S2 now reminded me a lot of the scream franchise with the meta-story telling in some scenes.

The actresses r all so talented + did a great job. As did the rest of the casts . Theres so much more to explore , i hope for s3 (+ s4 , s5....) although the show was cancelled.

I m a fan + hooked + need more of A!

What i really liked abt the film was its lenght. If a film is 2,5hrs or longer it becomes an experience, the story telling gets better, its like sour dough that gets a chance breath.

The story is compelling and as someone who thinks robert deniro is overrated most of the times he really gave a wonderful performance. But its not a groundbreaking performance and many other actors couldve played the part well. I didnt like leo di caprios performance and i dont understand the hype around lily gladstone . She gives a good performance but her character is so passive and i just wish she had something more to work on. The same for leos performance, he seemed like a caricature in many scenes.

In my opinion Cara Jade Myers was the highlight of the film as the troubled sister of molly. She really lit up the screen and the character + performance were top tier.

To summarize: a good movie, good performances, characteres were a bit underdeveloped but its worth watching.
