I have watched four episodes so far and I really like it. It is dark and quirky and the lead actor is very likeable. His ways of conducting investigations remind me a little of Luther.
I discovered this on iPlayer and binge watched it in a couple of days. It's a very well done, original, thought provoking and very well acted drama. The lead actor is phenominal in his role as is the actor Roger Jean Nsengiyuma (he gave me a young 2Pac vibes). Great to see some young talent emerging on BBC. I love Jessica Raine, but she is in danger of being type cast. Her character was no different from the character she played in 'The Last Post'. A bored and lonely housewife. She can do better!
I recommend this show because it felt very real, it is original and a day later I am still thinking about it. I hope the BBC will do a second season! This show is much much better than 'The Bodyguard'.
