This is a true farce in the strictest terms. Edgy and moronic like The Office. It's kind of like Woody Allen meets Steve Carol and they try to outdo each other. It makes huge fun of Jews and puts that stereotype in a whole new light. It brings paranoia and bad life choices almost rewarding. Being self-absorbed takes on new meaning and mediums are all knowing heros. At least the law enforcement officers realize that this guy is delusional and pass him off. Anyone can learn a lesson from this mess. Kind of entertaining if you are a Woody Allen fan. I wish I could have my time back. Not as advertised.
Moves along slowly but worth the watch. I didn't even recognize Val Kilmer, and he played such a small role. Hokey everyone rides off into the sunset end but leaves a good feeling.
Well written and a hoot to watch. I wish there could of been some action between frog (Vaugn) and Bright (Malcovich) as these are two of my favorites. Overall some people might find it Shakey, but the performances are solid and the quirky characters believable and enduring.
I wish more of this style of noir-fantasy fair was out there.
