Awful...so dont believe the high rating...Bad directing, bad very bad laughable CGI...The opening is silly like a school opera...The action is laughable..the makeup is laughable..the whole story is ridiculous.. boring and nonsensical from the first minutes..the acting is just awful but everyone... the scenes were over dramatic almost childishness and amateurish... just a waste of time...Do.not bother with this pls..

Ok I fell asleep while watching but wait...I did wake up in one scene with the axe. So ok the acting was poor, there were alot, yes alot of flat plain boring scenes..I mean a scene for people to sit at a dinner table wasted like 5-10mins when it could have just been edited to 5seconds..so alot of flat boring dialogue scenes, just make you sleepy...there are alot of old jump scares but those are predicable from old horror movies, just boring, like a sink filling up with something or someone pulling something..just dull...but i would say 1% was exciting and 30% was ok not great not bad but the rest was just boring waste of time. Probably better to watch on dvd or streaming later in hindsight than pay for cinema.

This is what core Alien fans want. This tv series is true to the original Alien movie that I watched 46yrs ago. The acting is mostly good. The CGI is better, the decoration and rooms look original..but the story is fresh with new aliens and a good story. Does not disappoint. This tv series opens up many more new dimensions and directions from the alien franchise.. The special effects didn't disappoint. So as a core Alien fan who saw the alien movie in the cinema in 1979, this Alien Earth tv series has not disappointed. Now that is up to episode 5. So I hope Hollywood and Disney dont crew up the end of the season or next seaons like they do with all the other Hollywood tv Netflix Disney series. BTW love the Octopus.
