This is about overcoming things that are not always in your control, you were thrown into them and you were strong enough to come out on top. Even if great people come into your life you have to know you are worthy of their love. I won't overshare but I will just say there were alot of points in this movie that hit hard for me.
This movie could have been much better. There were big names in this but ultimately the writing let the whole story down. This was a watered down version. It focuses too much on her first case instead of trying to show bits from each of her momentous cases or at least show us a few of her momentous cases where she takes on the law basis of sex. I feel like they were trying too hard to give a light to Martin and her kids that they barely had enough room for everything. RBG was a better fil about Ruth Bader Ginsburg and it does a much better job of talking about those cases.
From her spot on impressions of celebrities like Dame Judi Dench, Dame Maggie Smith, Camila and Angela Merkel. One of the best non Tracey characters is Birgit played by Samantha Spiro. The non celebrity characters are hilarious too. Her accents are insane. She can mirror anyone's accent. It is too bad she does not get on social media. I think it would be hilarious to see her daily posts.
