Joe Spinell personal bio and film IMDb is enough to keep your focus on this great low cost high blood fest. Caroline Munro escapes death but not your memories as that hot babe from other movies you have seen. If you miss NY of the late 70's early 80's you have another reason to watch. Spinell may not be remembered for this one but he left his mark as great or greater than any character actor in the last fifty years.
War is hell stories been there done that. What sets this miniseries apart is it character development. We care because we know what lives they lived off the battle field. Blood and guts numb unless we understand the non-soldier.
