I really enjoyed the first Kingsman movie. The second one was a step down but i could still had fun with the over the top action, comedy and all around crazyness.
I had no high expectations going into this film but oh man what a nonsensical, and suprisingly boring watch this was. Almost everything is really predictable to the point you could call out what would happen moments before it did. The scenes that where suprising just where suprising because of how hilariously stupid they where. Much of the movie is wasted just sitting around so even if you are just here for the action its quite a dissappointement, allthough i must admit that some of the action was pretty ok. One scene in particular was coreographed really well. Still the tone of the movie was all over the place. It tried hard to be serious or emotional in some scenes and failed miserably to deliever even though ralph fines is a great actor but do to the nonsensical nature of many of the overall plot the tone didn;t fit at all. The characters are all flat which is ok for this kind of film but like I said, there was hardly anything redeeming.
This movie has probably the weirdest and weakest villian I have seen in years. Its just so random. Of course this movie is highly ahistoric, which wouldn't have been that big of a deal, if they made it as over the top as the other Kingsman movies. Sadly it feels like they had no idea what kind of movie this was supposed to be so it ended up being a mess and neither fun and crazy nor emotional.

Great performances overall, chilling in some and hilarious in other moments. Obviously a commentary on climate change but you could just as easily see parrallels to the covid 19, despite the movie being written before it started.
I found myself thinking about this movie and its implications for several days after i first watched it and it helped me reflect some of my own behaviours, especially regarding my social media consumption.
Great movie, one if not the best I have seen in 2021 although some people will be offended.

.. is actually a very good description of this movie.
Like many others I imagined it to be some kind of cast away with a corse for the volleyball but it was suprisingly different. At this point you should know that farting is an essential plot device in this movie and that it is actually used to underline it's statements. If you cant get over this fact don't even watch it, because it is very heavily featured.
I can't help myself fealing kind of weird recommending this movie because it's just plain akward and even uncomfortable to watch at some instances. The cinematography is very good and the metaphoric value every set build has for the story is strongly admirable. After about thirty minutes of runtime I came to appreciate the movie for what it is. A character study and a reflection of human behavior, traditions, norms and values, which is mostly presented through dialogue between the two characters. Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano play they're characters in such an astonishingly believable and sweet way, that you can take them seriously at any time during the movie even though the plot is as ridicoulus as one could imagine. I think this is a piece that many will grow to appreciate after some time and it is definitely going to become a cult classic.
