Regardless of where you put Bill Hader in, he will always play a part of himself and he will always want to do things as he wants it to be, and this episode is the perfect example of it.
Co-helmed by Bill Hader, this episode is the epitome of what kind of performer he is. It's super dark but also super funny. He put together a production crew that can help him translate his vision and I couldn't have been more spoiled to be able to watch something so perfect.
This episode will make you laugh hard. From the sound mixing, to the dialogues, even with the choreography. Everything about this episode is absurd, but it works really well with the show's storyline.

There are plenty parts of the show where it gets a laugh out of you. This was the first episode where you get hit with the freight train of what this show is also about: drama.
The acting couldn't have been more perfect. The story for this episode was great, but the whole 37 minutes were carries by the actors involved. This is one of those cases where you don't need strong dialogues to sell the scene and the drama of it. This episode was purely and strongly carried by the body language, the delivery of the lines in terms of verbal and physical, the depth in the eyes and the quiver of the lips.
