I watch this version of the Christmas carol ,every couple of years and in my opinion it's still the best and most authentic take in dickens classic. George c Scott is what you imagine scrooge would look like and act like if you had a mental image of a victorian tyrant. He plays the part so well that others are poor in comparison. The Patrick Stewart attempt at playing scrooge in the 1999 version was not a patch on Scott's version. The whole atmosphere in this one is more believable and you can imagine the what the harsh winter and Xmas felt like back then. I will continue to watch this one and my kids have also said its an enjoyable movie. I have yet to see another version capture the essence of the bad old days and I believe if dickens could pick anyone to play scrooge he would pick Scott everytime.

This film couldnuave been so much better. Great setting and very claustrophobic, especially when walking through the underground tunnel . The shadowy horrible thing moving about in the distance creates a good.horror ambience. It's almost like a modern take on.sawney bean without the cannibalism. Turns out there had been an attempt at inbreeding but there.deosnt seem to be any y survivers. My main gripe about this movie was the last 30 mins. Police totally disbelieve a credible story from thr main.female character and don't even step.foot on the house, even though she had been staying.there and would have allowed access. The clown hay couldn't hold a gun without dropping it . And the abrupt ending ,it really was poor. But apart from that it wasn't the worst.

I watched all the episodes in the hope that something would happen!! This is one borefest and is more evidence that Disney are producing poor quality shows and attaching a star wars tag onto it,in the hope of milking yet more cash from it. If this didn't have a star wars tag , I bet half yhe viewers wouldnt even bother starting it . Its like a sci fi crime drama ,with a paramilitary police force and a bank job ,carried out by andor and his gang of anarchists . Disney really has to put an end to the star wars obsession as its being used to churn out rubbish. This was even worse than the book of boba fett and this makes that look good .
