  • Fun movie with amazing visuals and tons of pop culture references

This was a really fun movie with amazing visuals & and pop culture references, reminiscent of Steven Spielberg's "Ready Player One". I've read some reviews that said that the humor and dialogue were not interesting or funny, and I completely disagree. Millie, Bobby Brown, and Chris Pratt develop a solid chemistry over the course of the movie and you really began to care about many of the robot characters as you get to know them. The only confusing thing to me was the setting in the mid 90s rather than in the not too distant future to have all of this incredible robot technology. It is, however, meant to be an alternate version of our history giving credit to the love for robots that was inspired in early science fiction in the opening of Disneyland.

I have even saw someone that criticized the musical score by Alan Silvestri, and as a music professional, those comments were way, of course. The music is interesting, matches the action and very connected to the story. Overall, an enjoyable film with many creative elements.

  • I love Star Trek and this is REALLY Disappointing. .

As someone who has been a lifetime fan of all Star Trek projects, including every TV series and all of the movies in both timelines, this was so disappointing. When I first read of this project, "Section 31", I was really looking forward to it. It is just done so poorly and every aspect of it from the story, the acting in the terrible attempts of humor are hard to watch. I hope that the Star Trek continues to try new things, however, this was a hodgepodge of bad ideas in one of the poorest written scripts I've ever seen in all of science fiction. The final conversation between the main actors is unbearable, including one line that was hard to understand why it was included. I hope this does not sink the momentum to create new Star Trek films & TV series. Good Si-Fi is really needed with all of the inappropriate and trashy science fiction shows that are on many other streaming networks. There are new high quality science fiction shows and movies still being produced, they're so hard to find. I'm hoping that the people at Paramount that are in control of the direction of Star Trek, learn something from this terrible miss step in the Star Trek universe.

  • A GREAT movie with a very relevant message.

"God's Not Dead: In Gid We Trust" is another solid film in this successful series. In many ways, it may be the best of the 4 because it is so relevant to what is going on in our world right now. As usual, the story, acting and production is top-notch This film can be proud that it is as good or better than many of the biggest budget Hollywood offerings out there. The one difference is that it doesn't have to rely on foul language, over sexualized characters or offensive elements to tell it's story and make a powerful point. This is what so-called mainstream "movie critics" hate about this type of movie. A major point of this film is to not compromise your values, morals, and faith in order to be successful and be a leader. David A. R. White once again is Reverend David Hill, a man of conviction & kindness with a profound connection to God. He is very easy to relate to and to pull for as he navigates, many difficult and challenging situations. The rest of the cast is also wonderful including Scott Baio & Ray Wise as the main political villains. Samaire Armstrong is strong in her role as the conflicted campaign manager.

Great movie and highly recommended to watch during this current election season.
