The first two episodes had me curious where this was heading. They were nothing special but showed some potential for the remainder of the show. But with this episode, I feel like I have a clearer view of where they are taking this and it's just not all that interesting. This episode was hard to finish. It was extremely slow. The plot surrounding Boy Kavalier has taken more of a prominent role than I was hoping. It is simply not interesting. The production value is still good...the writing leaves a lot to be desired though. Not sure if I'll tune in next week.
Another good entry into the franchise. It had the most original spin on the central plot but also the most unoriginal details, as it borrows heavily from the previous films...especially Final Destination 2. I do understand they were paying homage to the earlier movies. It worked, but it also took away any real element of surprise I was hoping for. I did like how it tied together the franchise in some ways.
This film has one of the weaker leads in the franchise, unfortunately. I just couldn't get behind anything her character brought to the table...she was bland. Fortunately for the movie, Final Destination is about the kills, and this one had plenty of great ones. The opening sequence was excellent. I don't think the movie ever reached that level again, but that seems to be the case with most of the Final Destination movies.
In terms of tone, I think the movie hits a good mark. It had a comedic spin on things but not TOO comedic. Although, I love the darker tone of the first 3 movies.

I'm adding Evie to my all-time hated characters list. I honestly can't remember the last time I was this disappointed in a character's choices.
This movie has one of the most dynamic sets of relationships I've seen. It doesn't all work, but damn, most of it was fantastic. All of the acting was also great...including all of the younger actors/actresses. Holly Hunter is definitely the standout here.
The filmmaking style is grungy and dirty. It works wonders with the story. I was seriously considering giving this a higher score up until the end.
This movie was a trip. I can definitely see myself revisiting this.
