  • Tops the all-time list of quality television entertainment

Let me begin by saying this is the best show to ever cross the airways. It's a stunning example of what quality writing and a exceptional cast can accomplish. Wholesome, funny and endearing, the show always left us with a life lesson. It captures a period in time when this country was steered by values and hard work. The use of profanity and sexual imaginary was not needed with this show. It's was carried by the cast wholesomeness and the writers ability to bring love and understanding to the forefront. Growing up with it made me a better person. The lessons it taught me still resonate strong today. I'm not sure you you can give the show a better compliment. An American classic that warmed the hearts of millions and will continue to do so long after I'm gone.

  • As a fan of the horror genre......

Nothing I've ever seen has disturbed me more than this documentary. The situation is must worse than I realized. Very informative and thought provoking but be prepare to enter a world of madness you never knew existed. It's a well made film that gives everyone a chance to answer a simple question, What is a Woman. So called scholars and medical professionals struggle mightily to deal with their answers and I found myself embarrassed for them when they shut down the interviews. I am shell shocked at the current state of our country and the absolute lack of morality and decency. That said, I found great solace with the African tribe untouched by indoctrination. Their simple logic reminded me of days gone by. Those folks are much happier than we are as a country. The film is an absolute must see.

  • An American Masterpiece

This film is an American masterpiece. It showcases an outstanding cast and not a single role was cast wrong for this film. The stunning Rebecca De Mornay in one of her early roles. Carlin Glynn as the selfish wife is brilliant. Kevin Cooney is featured in one of his many fine performances. The late John Heard portrays the hen-pecked husband to perfection. The incredible actress Geraldine Page portrays the adorable Mrs. Watts. All performances which demand ovation. The twins standing behind Mrs. Watts in line at the bus station are Mrs. Pages' actual sons. She married Rip Torn and the mailbox used to read Torn Page. Sadly, Mrs. Page died in June of 1987 at the age of 62, just two years after this film was released but not before she received an academy award for her remarkable performance, the only 'Best Actress' academy award she was ever presented, although nominated many times. She was working Broadway right up until the time of her death. What a wonderful actress and special lady. RIP Mrs. Geraldine Page and RIP Mr. John Heard.

Footnote: For best actress, Mrs Page beat out Whoppi Goldberg in The Color Purple, Ann Bancroft in Agnes of God, Jessica Lang in Sweet Dreams and Meryl Streep in Out of Africa.
