I had really high hopes for this. Saw the trailer at the cinema and it looked great. Quirky, indy, period with a twist. But after the first couple of shows it's a real let down. The writing is just dreadful. Imagine a tenth grade school play written by the class and you won't be far out. It just doesn't work.

Still an enjoyable show. Jason, Jonny and Vikki are great. Jimmy the bore, not so much. I fast forward his bits. He's no replacement for Tiff. Get someone who can either drive or entertain. Or preferably both.

Probably the best TV show since The Wire. This adaption of a true story is brilliantly written and the acting, without exception, is absolutely first class. Every character is believable and fully drawn. It's a show which has actually got better from season 1 to season 2. Personally I can't wait for season 3.
