I'm laid up after surgery so my husband and I watched all kinds of movies and this one came up. I couldn't figure it out until near the end. The plot involves the Brown family; a stereotypical black welfare dependent bunch who find themselves about to lose their home and land to back taxes. Their evil neighbor is set to take advantage of their misfortune and the heist is their solution.
This movie is an obvious satire on the many factions of black Americans; not taking sides with any lifestyle. But what surprised us is the message at the end which was decidedly conservative in statements against abortion and in favor of gun rights, the love and worship of Jesus Christ and putting family first. I was blown away. It was so silly I was tempted to turn it off but I'm glad I saw it through to the end.
