And all I really want to say is that I thought this movie was great. Really original. Really good. A solid 9.
The production quality and acting are 100% excellent. The story itself is so implausible and just didn't make enough sense for me. On the other hand, the film maintains interest (certainly not boring). So...ten stars for top-notch production and acting. Minus five stars for a somewhat ridiculous plot. Then I added a star because it kept my interest until the end. I hope that helps!
Bokeh was made by a small film company, but you could never tell by watching it. The quality of the film is top-notch. If you aren't the sort of person who likes art films, indie films, or contemplative films, then, okay, this may not be the one for you. But the cinematography is amazing, the actors are just as good as any, and the story really kept my interest throughout. The film is thought-provoking and allows viewers to imagine the what-ifs. What if I were in that situation? What would I do? What is the nature of our existence? I really thought this was a great film and worth a watch. Especially if you've been to Iceland.
