This is such a good breath of fresh air after the Velma Disaster, and while this could be considered just another Scooby Doo movie, that's why it's so great in the first place; it really shows the group's cohesiveness and demonstrates why the Scooby Doo formula has persisted for so long.
That's not to say that innovation and change is bad for this franchise; it's just the way it's applied and the characters handled that can really ruin a Scooby Doo film. And this one? Does the opposite of ruin the character interactions. There were genuinely many moments i actually laughed out loud and I can honestly believe the Scooby Gang willingly hang out with each other and are friends, not to mention all Metropolis elements meshed together well/the scooby gang didn't feel out of place in my opinion.
And sure, the mystery was easy to put together, but I had fun watching this film, and isn't that what matters the most in the end. These characters are cherished and a classic, it great to see them being treated well.
TLDR; good scooby doo movie. Not a 10/10 but certainly very earnest 7.5-8/10.

And I am loving it. Not even 5 minutes into the episode and I am loving the relationship the bros have with each other and April. Sure this show, is a bit more zany and colorful than it's previous incarnations, but it still has the action sequences one craves and some good humor too. There is non of the animosity between bros/that dreaded Raph vs. Leo story lines because Rahp IS leader and Leo is allowed to be a TEENAGER.
THEY ARE ALL TEENAGERS.
They;re all learning to be the heroes we now them to be, GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE, GIVE THE SHOW THE CHANCE IT NEEDS.
