I love historical series like this; the actors did an amazing job of bringing these influential figureheads into our modern world. Jenna Coleman is a wonderful actress. I was introduced to her through Doctor Who, and since then, I have loved her work. She played Queen Victoria well, and Tom Hughes played Prince Albert amazingly.
The story progression is fast-paced and contains a handful of time skips, it tells us the history of Queen Victoria's life from ~1837-1851. I wish it had carried on and included more history and historical events until she died in 1901. Also, the last few episodes were filled with tension from Victoria and Albert and the last scene ended on a cliffhanger!

Ugly Betty is a relatively short TV show that has 85 episodes spreading across 4 seasons, with season 2 being the shortest (18 eps) and season 3 being the longest (24 eps). The show focuses on Betty Suarez as she takes on her new job as an assistant to Daniel Meade, the Editor-in-Chief, at Mode magazine. Altogether, the show is fun to watch because of the characters, they are funny, memorable, and most importantly, likeable.
The characters get into all sorts of mischief and scenarios that are engaging to watch. But what I liked most about the show was that each character had their own plotlines that they had to work through and got satisfying results. I think my favourite characters were Daniel, Marc, and Amanda, but I did like all of the characters that were introduced. Also, what I found funny throughout the show was the fact that they all called Betty "ugly" but she had the most active love life out of the majority of the main characters.
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this show. I remember watching it when I was a kid with my Mum and sister but we never got that into it, so everything that came up after season 1 was a surprise. I highly recommend this show if you want to watch something light-hearted, funny, and cosy.

The Walking Dead is a relatively long TV show with 177 episodes spreading across 11 seasons, season 1 had the least amount of episodes (9) and season 11 had the most episodes (24). I found that seasons 1 through 5 were peak TWD, which was when the show was at its most popular, with intriguing storylines, amazing characters, and badass villains. However, some parts of the show were slow-going and I didn't really enjoy the storyline which made me stop watching for a period of time. But I was determined to see it through and finish it, I loved the last episode, and it was nice seeing all of the characters with their own happy endings.

Additional details:
- The character development was consistent throughout the show.
- Actors did an amazing job with the characters.
- Special effects and costumes were so gruesome, I love it!
- Sound design was nice and crisp.
- Some scenes were pretty dark (lighting wise) which made it hard to see what was going on.
