I normally wouldn't bother to make a comment on this piece of crap that portrays itself as a movie, were it not for the glowing comments and the 6.6 IMDB rating. There seem to be some real fans among the commentators. What exactly is it that attracts people to this twisted garbage. It's not that I expect movies to be realistic, but violence for it's own sake without a halfway "believable" story to frame it in is just gore. I was misled by the narrative that sounded interesting and the high score on IMDB. Will not repeat the same error again.

It has become such a rare occasion where you can give a 9 or even 10 rating without a thinking twice. This movie was suburb in every aspect. The setting somewhere at the beginning of the sixties oozed the atmosphere of that era. I was completely spellbound by the acting of everyone in the movie. The story kept evolving and had many unsuspected surprises. It was such a refreshing experience to see a really well made and entertaining movie in this day and age. I also agree for once the overall rating here which I even find a bit on the low side. It should be nearer to 7, but hey 6,2 is not something to sniff at. Definitely a recommended view.

The first thing that springs to mind is the rating of this substandard pretend to be something movie. I have said it on previous occasions, but somehow I still fall in the same trap. For those familiar with the rating scale here. Getting a 7.2 rating is actually very high. So i gave it a chance and boy. Was this a disappointment. I don't think I missed something. The story was easy enough and the line has been used in movie scripts many times over. And with a budget of an estimated 8 million $ I was expecting considerably more. Besides the fact that this was another crappy movie there was the usual and obvious diversity portraying. Anyway if one has time to kill then there are better things to do then watch this,
