For all the talk about a female doctor, we have seen surprisingly little of the doctor up to now. This episode has done a great job in finally giving the doctor some screentime and showing us how likeable she can be. It's much easier to root for the doctor when we actually get to know her (the writing has really let the character down up to now).
This episode was a step in the right direction. Not brilliant, but promising. The writing has been subpar this season and I have lost interest after the first few episodes - Chibnall's writing has done more harm than good for woman and minorities. However, the latest two episodes have been promising and has returned some of the fun and goofiness that I enjoyed about the first few seasons. Let's hope that they continue along this line
A movie supposedly based on the true love story of its two protagonists. This movie is a great change of pace from the Afrikaans rom-coms released in recent years. It had a much deeper plot than I expected but I had a stupid smile on my face by the time the credits rolled. The actors are very charismatic and make you root for their characters from the start. The 70s soundtrack is great as well.
While this is not a masterpiece, not all movies have to be Oscar material. Enjoy it for what it is- a fun, silly film. The dry South African humor is great (if you enjoy that type of humor).
This show was pretty funny and quirky in the first two seasons. It was weird, but enjoyable and Ellie Kemper is extremely likable as Kimmy Schmidt. However, the show has gotten significantly worse in the latest seasons. Quirky became cringy. I like Tina Fey but I don't know what they are doing with this show. As someone that usually does not mind political aspects in shows, even I am getting tired of the constant bad political satire.
