  • A potential turned into a mess.

As a huge batman fan, I kept telling myself before writing this review that I need to be as fair as possible and give this movie its own rights independently without comparing it to any previous batman movies especially the incomparable TDK Trilogy. Because then, I will be extremely misjudging it.

The movie was very well done in the embodiment of the comic books. It will be remembered for how unique it was for this style. The cinematography was undeniably outstanding. It played a significant part in creating the gloomy, dark atmosphere and gave me the feeling that every frame could be a panel in a comic book. The cast performance was special. The score was decent and the script was really remarkable.

Then comes the storyline, which focused mainly on investigation in the first three quarters of the movie that happened to go well (gives you those Se7en vibes) and then an increasing amount of accelerating events that, not only will make you feel lost but also destroys your logical comprehension of the movie completely and destroys the film's pace in a sudden, unwarranted transformation. I find that transformation not standing on a real basis at all. There is no strong link between events. It feels like the director just got bored or stuck at that moment while he was in a hurry. Then, everything got complicated and every scene stood on its own just for the sake of showing off.

I am trying to be open-minded about the character of batman himself, but can't endure how fragile he was. He was made to become too human that the only thing he was really capable of was fighting and punching people in the face madly. I mean, I don't mind it, it's not unusual but not so weak that I honestly found it ridiculous. I believe that Matt Reeves cared so much about being different that he turned attention seeking in many scenes of the movie.

After the movie ended, I was in pure disappointment about how the structure of the movie was ruined and had too many question marks that went through my head that one of them was wondering if maybe it could have been better if it was made as a series.

  • Fine Art.

A Cinematic, Classic, Photographic, Depressive, Realistic Masterpiece.

I cannot describe it any better with my words, believe me. It is a whole artistic experience where you can find yourself either relating or just admiring how beautiful it is.

It is one of the movies that can achieve you brief satisfaction, happiness, and joy.

I recommend it to people who appreciate solo work films.

  • Awesome, just one flaw.

I am giving this 10 for the awesome performance by Richard Schiff and the great drama. Although, only one thing that is weird. The timeline of the episode, I don't know or understand what is wrong with Shaun at the hospital and Shawn with lea at his apartment or the new apartment? Is he as fast as flash to get their and then back? Especially when he told Dr. Glassman that he kept the secret for 30 minutes. They must have missed something or I don't understand it.
