This show has it all. It is a well written drama with well placed punches of levity and unexpected bombshells. The conversational flow is flawless. Dare I say that the drops of profanity, in my world fit. Without them the dialogue would be flat and missing something. Like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Kate and Hal have an amazing chemistry. The physicality is well timed and not gratuitous.

This show is full. I am on my 3rd round and each time I experience something different. Even with my gushing review I do see a bad turn of events. Allison Janney's acting style just doesn't fit. I know she is being directed and told how to act but it is too much like the show of West Wing. That show was a stick up the butt stodgy show. The Diplomat is polar opposite.

Barbara Niven is a train wreck to this show. I get it that she is only acting as she is told but this has become unwatchable. Good grief with her over the top clownish acting. She can't walk from one place to another. She had to take baby step running while bouncing up and down. She is dressed like she is walking the red carpet just to go have a free cookie at her daughter's. I would LOVE to see the character configuration since Mathison left do an episode with Barbara Niven. Doesn't she ever go on vacation or hang with any friends do we don't have to be subject to her clownish behavior. Maybe she needs to be the next murder victim,

I didn't think that this show could get any worse but you fooled me. Ariana had taken this show right into the crapper. She is plastic, phony and now creepy.

She rode the coattails of Tom to get name recognition. She was all smug taking Tom away from Kristen and then Raquel did the same to her.

She was horrible in Chicago. People flocked to the show not because she was any good but she was like a dancing bear, a novelty to watched.

Recently she has had so much plastic surgery or facial fillers her face barely moves. She is as ugly on the outside as she is on the inside. You all forced me write all of this because of minimum character requirements.
