Started out strong, but then it just kept going... and going... and going... and going...
One problem with this movie was the amount of characters that it had to introduce. Half of the movie was just getting to know who everyone actually was. And because there were so many characters, most of them ended up having pretty muted personalities, making it hard to really get invested in their story.
The other problem was that the story introduced two different antagonists so we had two different plot lines going on.
There was also a strange struggle to adapt, religion, mythology, and comic book lure into the single story which at times felt forced and at other times schizophrenic.
To summarize, the movie tried to do too much for one movie. A short series would have maybe been better, or just simplifying everything to fit the movie.
