I really liked this adaptation. I agree the pace is a little slow and there were some changes from the original plot, but I enjoyed them all. It's way better than Branagh's Poirot (shivers) and Murder is Easy, which I couldn't finish.
It's different, unique, and well-constructed. The actors have solid performances and I found the additions interesting. They don't affect the plot. I liked that many details were faithful to the book.
They keep the original characters and how the plot evolves from their childhood, the "point zero."
I recommend to watch and enjoy it as a good and creative Agatha's adaptation.

Conclave is an outstanding movie. A mix of Christianity, Catholic Church, spirituality, Shakespearean play, and an Agatha Christie's novel, it's exhilarating and draws our attention from beginning to end.
This movie should have won more Academy Awards. Beautiful photography, with amazing talented actors. Fiennes, Tucci, Lithgow, and Rossellini bring their best act to this picture. I was breathless at the end.
Don't want to spoil the finale, but I highly recommend it. In a year of many beautifully crafted movies, like I'm Still Here, this is definitely the best movie of 2024. Thanks to the directors, actors, and film workers for this masterpiece.

I chose this movie because of the scenery. Beautiful Italy, charming Verona, the background of Romeo & Juliet's dramatic love, what could go wrong?
Well, everything. Except Verona, of course. The title is atrocious. The actors look like they hate each other. There's no story aside from psycho abusive teenage behavior between 2 strangers fighting for an apartment in charming Verona during high season.
We dislike the characters from the beginning, they're just boring awful human beings. I mean, the guy at least tries to be a gentleman but is quickly punished for that... (no spoilers...).
Awful movie, zero chemistry, and nothing funny in a supposed rom-com. Couldn't even finish it, I stopped at the murder attempt of inciting an anaphylactic reaction in a seriously allergic person.
Sorry, not for me. One wasted hour I'll never have back. Please do better, Netflix. Just look at An Idea of You, an amazing rom-com with talented actors and great chemistry.
This movie was the most dreadful use of Romeo & Juliet' as a background inspiration. Shakespeare (and the audience) deserves better.
