Just amazing. I cannot believe this show is receiving a 7 or 8 in some reviews. It's incredible. The script, actors and characters are all top tier. A true, gritty and atmospheric look at a different side of Gotham, shown form the eyes of a beloved villain. 10/10 despite what anyone else says...
It's really sitting with me that this is continuing the universe from Matt Reeves' "The Batman" because the atmosphere here is somewhat different. It's a mafiaesque display of violence, hustling and showing us a real portrayal of a new character favourite, played by Colin Farrell, Oswald aka the penguin.
Just watch it. Brilliant.

Let's be honest. If someone is ugly or old, they're not wanted. And this film perfectly fits that narrative. Whether fictional or non we each live this way inside of our own minds. This is a true display of vanity, suffering with old age and coming to terms with feeling left out. The sci-fi aspect of this film works very well, yet I found myself extremely uncomfortable as a viewer. This is a horrific take on how desperate people are to be loved, cherished and wanted. Let's also take a look at a different point of view from it. This lady takes her career so seriously and didn't care to raise a family, marriage or real close friends. This character has 0 friends in the whole film except someone which wants to get into her pants. It's a crazy take on something which we all experience every day. Looking into a mirror is a difficult thing when aging. This film show is exactly that, but in a very bleak way.
In a nutshell this film was awful and a total joke. What were they thinking with this one?
The first chapter was good, but here they completely fell off the rails with this.
