Ty Steele resides in the Atlanta, GA area. He was born in 1968, Alexandria, VA, USA. He joined the USMC in 1989 and left as a Sergeant and combat veteran of the first Gulf War in 1995. His acting training began at the Austin Community College and private instruction in 1997. He began working full time in Information Technology in 1995. He graduated with two masters degrees from Liberty University in 2010, and then from the Atlanta Institute of Music in 2011, becoming a full time drummer in 2012. He has a blackbelt in mixed martial arts, and actively studies various martial arts including Tang Soo Do, Wing Chun and Brazilian JuJitsu. He co-opened his own martial arts school in 2019.
