Great in every way. Everyone should watch this. There are countless top-notch aspects to point out here, which many reviewers have. A finer detail for me, which exemplifies how great this show is, was the courtroom explanation of how a nuclear reactor operates and the different puts and takes that make it tick just right. Just awesome!

With such an experienced cast and a big production, I was expecting so much more. The plot is predictable and none of the twists are truly twists. It builds decent suspense early on and falters in following through with a good pay off. Without a compelling plot, I would have needed more interesting character developments, which also fell flat. Nicole Kidman, though beloved, was not an ace on this one.

I think if you're not a huge Star Wars fan nor too overpowered by the cute factor of baby Yoda, season 1 was not all that exciting from a plot or character standpoint. Also, I personally dislike when death can either be final or easily washed away through some drone-provided healthcare, reducing the stakes significantly.
