This is such a good, heartwarming, poignant show. The writing is excellent , really gives the actors a chance to shine.even the absurd moments are somehow relatable. Most every episode is a 7-9 with a few 10 moments thrown in, especially the last episode of season 2. It almost convinces me it will end up ok as a retired, senior citizen.

I have conflicting feelings about this movie. The positives are that it was well made, better film making than a lot of hallmark and Christian movies so I really appreciated that, or would have not watched much of it. The actors were all fine to very good, just a few sub par. The story was interesting and kept my attention. The neutrals: not too aligned with the biblical story of Ruth but a decent story nonetheless. Not sure where drinking and bars fit into a biblical theme. They did not make it at all clear why Ruth stuck with Naomi. Negatives: not sure why the plot veered off to music and that industry and characters, not a parallel in any way to the biblical story to me. End rushed and a let down. Impact on Naomi and Boaz deserved a bit more time to work through. The marketing as "Ruth and Boaz" of course drew me and even though it did not live up to that promise I enjoyed it for what it turned out to be.some of the negative reviews here make strong points but didn't bother me to the same extent. In the end, it is a good movie and enjoyable for an evening. That it is 100x better than most mediocre to junk on tv or at movies these days wins my thumbs up too.

This started off a little confusing to me, the plot and the flashbacks and after 15 minutes made sense finally. Ziva's stunts are far fetched and it's obviously a stunt double. Tony isn't too believable in his job to me. They look good, the European settings are nice. BUT who the heck thought adding the F bomb and other profanities was the best plan??!! First it's offensive and so unlike NCIS content, and second it is so awkward coming out of our favorite old characters, doesn't fit them at all. It adds nothing to the show but subtracts. Not sure will even bother to continue it. Such a disappointing wait and product.
