I had the subtitles on while watchignt his in in English language.
The short film is marred by its length in not being able to explain much of the importance of the work/story behind the idea/comcept of the Judge element when it comes to Japanese culture.
This is better explain by the other reviewer on here.
However, this is a really good short if you watch with the Japanese dub and subtitles.

The Good:
1st and 2nd episode good.
The Bad: 3rd epsiode onwards, I couldn't even stomach.
The Ugly: Even I, whose who seen most of the first original season from the anime and not the CGI animation knew that this whole story does not exist as a 'plot' in the Gundam Universe.
Why?
Because Zeons are the fascists vile WW2 villains. Here they decide to make the Zeons the heroes and victims.
All through the 1st episode it felt off and I kept saying to myself I NEED TO GO WATCH THE ORIGINAL SERIES AND COMPLETE IT.
So, thats what I am going to do ever watch the rest of episode 3 of the other 3 remaining episodes.
Because even one 'filler' episode of the original is better than this DEI infested brainrot that spits on the original Gundam series.
Advise to writers, from a writer of genre and also a fan of genre, epecially anime, manga and sci-fi, if you want to infest other people's IPs with your brainrot, just write your own and put it out under your own IP and not someone else's.
That way you can ruin your own IP and not a beloved one.
And thats from a brown skinned fan of the series and anime in general.

After the 2nd episode the first time round a few years back.
It's a trait in the lead character that goes against my very being; which is, never stand by while someone is getting beaten up or mistreated by someone larger or, if they are female.
Now, I know in todays 'modern' era people don't want or like to get involved in helping others due to the nature of the current world we live in, where a male who steps in to help a female or elders might actually end up being accused as the perpetrator.
This more so from the 4th wave feminists, or in China's case, the elderly who are out to scam everyone they can as evidence of a corrupt communist society with any morales under the CCP rule.
But, us Gen Xers and older generations still believe in helping out fellowman, because some day that could be us needing help.
Which is why its a tough watch for the earlier epsiodes.
I tried to watch again from the start. Here's hoping I can make it past the 3rd episode.
And, here's hoping we can return to a better time when we looked out for each other.
