Good quality episode and I love how they gave the old man in the Hilltop more time on Camera to Shine, authentic and credible performance. Noticed some better camera work too . Nice

Now I can think of a dozen ways Carol saved the pack over and over in the series, after Rick she leaded implicitly and with strength, we could see that from the start in conversations between Rick and Carol. How did she became like this? Alpha killed her son so she broke down? I don't know what is going on with this series. The series could have taken a very darker more cruel way since season 7. Season 8 is just useless might as well delete it. I thought season 9 started on the right foot but I am not liking what I am seeing. More than 8 years of apocalypse, killing other people, cannibalism, dead friends doesn't turn people to what we are seeing on this series, it hones their instincts of survival to the unbelievable.this show could have been triple the hit when it was in season 4 5 if it took another turn. Dead metros with skinny fast walkers, cannibals, rats diseases lack of every resource, period death of characters one by one(small ones), pure real human animal behavior. It could have rivaled game of thrones if directors were a bit more bold.

Now everyone is just disoriented, scared, hiding, no leadership and just nothing.
