  • I expected 80s cheese, and soon was wishing for it.

This is one of the most unintentionally hilarious movies I've ever watched-just dumb, dumb, DUMB. Timothy Van Patten in the villain rôle is a skinny, snarky little creep with more hairspray than menace, and Perry King looks like a soap opera actor who wandered onto the wrong set. The fight scene choreography is so cliché, it's laughable, and the soundtrack sounds like classic Bugs Bunny. The only thing left to wonder about is what on earth Roddy McDowell was thinking when he accepted a part in this clown show. The impression I was getting from the ad for this film was that it was some sort of 80s version of Walter Hill's The Warriors (!), and it appears I owe Mr. Hill a very heartfelt apology. Even back in the 80s, audiences would have been laughing their heads off at this. 2/10.
