My thoughts about this movie. I was so looking forward to seeing a movie that is set in a village atmosphere and came out disappointed.
1. Photography: Godavari area was shown beautifully. I am bit disappointed with how they showed rain fall (there is plenty of it). You can clearly see rain being sprayed on.
2. Comedy: It is very crude and quite annoying sometimes and not suitable to watch with younger kids. Failing marks.
3. Acting: Nithin's (hero) acting paled in comparing with other two (Rajkumar and Ankith). Nayan Sarika (heroin)'s action is good - she gave her best - as much as the role allowed.
4. Story: Director failed to pull audience into the love story between the hero and heroine. It feels so superficial. There is a message at the end of the movie, but it too looked very cinematic and doesn't really evoke any emotion.

I am glad some fans find it 10/10 but this is 10, what would we give to Baabubali and other great movies? Someone, as I did, could mistake this movie as a historical story but this is pure fiction. Kalyan Ram is seen in almost every frame of the movie and his effort is commendable. Film sets look cheap and not realistic - especially where the Bimbisara's treasure is hidden (low budget impact). Catherin Tresa role is very weak and in fact other characters come and go without much role or impact.
The basic premise of the story never captures the imagination of the audience. Many people fighting for many things but without strong reasoning and history behind it so we never feel their pain and don't feel emotional about their difficulties. Puja Hegde's role is most inconsequential in recent times - poor choice to act in this movie. Painful to watch even on OTT, fast forwarding senseless fights and gore. Can't imagine the flight of audience in movie theators.
