This TV series is excellent. It's about a teenage girl called 'Rae' (Rachael) who is released from a mental hospital, and now on her way to recovery. Rae is on a journey of self-reflection and improvement since experiencing a past of depression, self-harm and low self-esteem. She attends regular therapy sessions and writes daily in her diary as a means of exploring and expressing her feelings.
Rae comes out of hospital and returns back home to live with her Mum, and goes back to school (College) spending much time with her closeknit group of friends. The show focuses on her relationships at home and at school, and you can't help but form strong feelings for her and all the other characters.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is a lovely family film which is full of emotions (there are scenes and feelings of struggle, sadness, love and happiness).
"Penguin" (the name of the Bloom family's adopted Magpie bird) is just so so sweet. Penguin is the key to this film's success because she brings the family together, and pulls them through their struggles and sadness. Maybe the reason I liked it so much is because I love animals and nature.

This is honestly hands down one of my favorite Netflix series. There is so much mystery and suspense, and also many unexpected plot twists. Because of the element of surprise, it keeps you wanting more. I cannot wait for Season 2 as the first season definitely ended on a cliffhanger.
