Charlie Cox is an unquestionably great choice as DareDevil, but honestly, every single episode featuring Vincent D'Onofrio (Kingpen) is flat out AMAZING. He's really an underrated actor and was born to play the role (as Charlie Cox was born to play DareDevil).
There's a scene in Season 3, Episode 8 where Karen Paige is "interviewing" Kingpen in his penthouse...it's just the two of them sitting at a table, and you can literally FEEL the creepy and menace oozing from D'Onofrio. It's interactions like that that keep you riveted. Love it.

This movie is basically a retelling of the song "Don't Stand So Close To Me," by The Police.
Note that Police lead singer Sting's real name is Gordon Sumner. The main character in the movie is Chris Sumner.
Also note that very early in the movie, one of the female students remarks about how cute Professor Sumner is and that she'll have him "Wrapped Around Her Finger" (another song by The Police) in no time.
