Every 10 years or so, you come across this jaw dropping production that sticks with you for days to follow. This is the mother of all those (given you take any interest in the overall ubject of warfare and particularly combat aircraft, of course).
The first half of the pilot is so boring and predictable, I found it impossible to continue watching. A start like this says a lot about the makers knowledge of gripping storytelling - or rather lack of such, not even worth the try.
The bad reviews in here must be some sort of joke or something personal. This is one of the most beautifully executed dramathrillers in years. Great actors, atmosphere, plot, technical craftmanship. Skarsgård alone will make your blood go as cold as the Alaskan dystopic environment he operates in. Some incredible war scenes from Afghanistan too, not for the faint of heart. This one you do not want to miss!
