Paatal Lok is an Indian Web Series released in Amazon Prime in 2020. It's a slow-paced crime thriller that revolves around the capital state of India, and its neighboring states. The story focus in detail about the social, political, and economical aspects of the various classes of Indian society.
Every character has a detailed back story about their past. The makers had exposed the inside view of the modern breaking-news media culture, Islamophobia, casteism, sexism, and religious atrocities. Also, they focus on the father-son, husband-wife relationships.

The movie is the story of Dineshan and Shobha, the events leading to their love and marriage. The cast and the crew did justice to the genre of the movie, romcom. The performance of Nivin and Aju is the backbone of the movie.
Ittymani is the story of a Thrisur based guy who is trying to find a love for his life and lands up in the middle of his neighbors family issue. Realizing that its the issue that the society is facing currently, the title character Ittimani is trying to solve the issue.
Though the movie tried to convey a message to the audience, the attempt was a failure. The movie was a 2hr 30min trash that constantly tested the patience of the audience. The lead actor was trying to show the glimpse of his vintage performance and had failed in it. I couldn't find a single scene with exaggerated dramatic situations and dialogues.
