Born "Fidel Montalban" on an super ice-cold February winter midnight morning. I was named after the ruthless Cuban dictator "Fidel Castro," in the year 1957 while people still believed he was a benevolent, humanitarian, kind man seeking freedom for himself and his fellow country-man. By January of 1959 that illusion was crushed but it was all too late for many as they lost not only their lives but their faith. I am considered a "Broadway Child," as I was born across the street from the Beacon Theatre on 75th and Broadway. I was in third grade for my first play on stage and I can still remember my lines. I took two years of college acting and received an "A" and a "D," whatever that means? Growing up in the streets of New York City my brother and I became fascinated with the wonders of the Martial Art (Science) MAS, as there happen to be several schools in the area on 72nd Street just a few blocks away. However, on that fateful 23 day in November of 1963 when President Kennedy was shot everything we knew would change. Our parents believed things were too hostile in New York thought that a move away would be in order and thus our dreams of learning the Martial Arts (Science) were dashed away but not for long. We ended up moving across the river to the other side of the Lincoln Tunnel which traversed the Hudson River and joined the two sides and ended up in Union City, New Jersey or little Cuba as most people (mostly Cubans) their felt it was, "home away from home."

  • Tony Curtis, very funny!

The movie has an unusual twist. With the dog as the jealous other. A great plot & stars. Loved the movie, loved Christine & Tony & the Pup! Have seen it many times will see it many more!
