#Kanguva is UNBEARABLE. Director #Siva's attempt is visible but the lacklustre writing makes it a disappointing affair. Constant over-the-top presentation, howling & build up leaves the audience irritated. The execution if flawed. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Film is loaded with issues with the predictable plot being one. The division between present and past wasn't needed as it really impacts the emotions shown in the film. The emotions do not work and the drama is flat and this is where the film's fate is sealed.
Drama works only when the audience knows the characters well and the equation between them. With the period set up, it was important for the writing to define the characters well probably then the film could've somewhat worked. This is an important point. Without proper world building and without defining characters properly, you will just hear random names and the dialogues between them and you won't feel anything.
You know things have gone wrong when a talented actor like #Suriya goes overboard in each and every scene. This was totally unexpected. As far as others are concerned it was expected because they usually go overboard in every film. However, #BobbyDeol does have his moments especially with an impactful BGM.
The Hindi dub could've been better while the irritating sound design, loud bgm & loud dialogue made me deduct half a star. It's literally that irritating. It overshadows the few merits that the film has.
The overacting and howling does not stop and so does the build up which is there from frame one. When every scene is a build up then the impact automatically reduces.
Giving more screen time to important stuff rather than the cringe present moment could've made the film a bit better. Also, highly disappointing music along with the VFX.
Skip it. Unfortunately, the film doesn't meet the sky-high expectations!
