Usual 'post-reality' TV with pre set up, mic'd up interactions. 2020 is so much worse being set in a restored, private castle in Wales. I suppose its aimed at the Daytime TV demographic so ill be a at least 3 decades late to the pop culture to remember why the "celebrities" were ever famous in the first place. "Challenges" worthy of after school game shows, nothing else worth thinking about. Big no.
Whats the point in having a questions if they don't answer them? 'Zoom'-In public guests are completely glazed over. The panel are practically there just to argue partisan politics or, like the last episode, when they talked more about 'The Crown' than The Pandemic
There is never, ever any nuance. But i do like watching a fight
Predictable plots, dumb dialogue, stunning hair and abs for days. Imagining all the executives sitting round "lets make an epic. BUT SEXY", typically subbing a good script for an all-star cast. Dont know why they don't just call it 'Achilles' and shave off some of the fluff. It is a film built like an aftershave ad and aimed at 12-16 yr old boys. And none of that is a bad thing if you just let go and have fun. But there are some scenes; quite a few actually that just draaag. So chill with some mates and a sack of wine and laugh.
