I am in my later years now. When I first read about the 'Knights of the Round Table , it was in the early 1960s. At that time all the Arthurian Legends were and are portrayed by Anglo-Saxon men and native born Britons. Yet now, we are led to believe that Sir Gawain is of Indian descent. I can only imagine that they are catering to the many thousands of immigrants that have arrived in Britain.
As a WW2 amatuer historian, I was shocked to see an American paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne unit patch and directly below it the patch of The Big Red One. (The 1st Infantry Div.) I have never seen this before. If the soldier served in the 1st Inf. Div. prior to being assigned to the 82nd Abn. - that patch would be on the right shoulder. Whoever the technical advisor was - they should have been fired. That's all it took for me to stop watching this movie.
The movie's introduction states that the action commences in December 1918. However by that time actual WW1 hostilities had ended on November 11, 1918.
