The sound engineer must have had absolutely 0 idea what they were doing. Even if you forgive the presence of cheesy jump scares they are about 100x too loud. So if you adjust your sound so they don't blow your ears out the EVPs are completely inaudible.
They seem to catch good evidence but the sound leveling completely detracts from the viewing experience.
The editorial style of over dramatic voice overs and brow beating jump scares, which have become commonplace in this genre is not lacking in this documentary. Too many cliches to count.
Otherwise it seems they caught some good evidence.
And Harnois is insufferable as usual.
