First..I like MSNBC..IT IS MY 1ST CHOICE FOR NEWS. When the Weeknight first aired, I had high hopes. The cast seemed familiar, former hosts or talking heads on MSNBC. But it has devolved into a shouting match and competition to see which host can babble the most- eclipsing their own guests. Simone has her heart in the right place, but the high pitched yelling, screaming, waving of arms and hands...it makes her delivery as far from a news report as a trip to the moon. Now, the other hosts are starting to emulate her. It's becoming unwatchable to me. Questions should be concise. Emotion at a minimum. Stick to the facts. As poor as I think the performances are, I stand by their right- and obligation- to report. As their condition may be, I would never want a Trump propaganda show in their place. Just shape it up.. thanks.
The Return of Dracula is a great film. Although one can see economies in the production, what was produced is top notch. Writing, directing, cinematography, music and acting all come together to make this movie memorable. I first saw the film on TV in the early 1960's, yet the visuals and Mr. Lederer's acting have been a constant in my life....it is now 2025! There have been many films about Dracula..some quite opulent. They are enjoyable, but in my mind the charactization provided by Francis Lederer is THE quintessential performance. Suave, handsome, indelible features, captivating voice...all these are uniquely memorable. If one could take all the Dracula films and distill them down to the elemental...this would be the movie you could get. Be sure to SEE IT!
Great episode. I've seen a lot of movies with Walter Pidgeon yet never have seen him in a role such as this. He was dynamic. The entire cast is quite proficient in executing this story. It's really frightening the Code that members must take to belong to the Mafia. This, as all episodes of The FBI, was taken from the real files of the Bureau. In looking at this version of the episode....on Tubi....the entire opening is shown. The Ford sponsor logo, the "in color" bumper....everything. On many other episodes, they have been removed. And, as usual, the many Ford vehicles rival the performers. GALAXIES, LTD'S, CONTINENTALS galore.
