I absolutely loved it. Being Welsh, it's become a norm for us to cringe at bad attempts at a South Walian accent but I was pleasantly surprised this time around. A joyful story with a superb cast and backdrop. I will watch again.
Like another reviewer has said, we literally discovered this film a second before pressing the play button, expecting it to be an easy but forgettable watch. I'm happy to say we were pleasantly surprised.
This little British gem has the perfect balance of comedy, romance and chaos without making the audience cringe like most larger-buget comedies do.
The young yet very experienced cast are fantastic in delivering a believable script and show great chemistry which makes you imagine that they had a brilliant time shooting the film. You will also notice how the director was able to give the Italian wedding guests enough attention for them to become characters of their own without saying a single word.
At more than one occasion during the film we both had tears running down our cheeks from laughing. Yes, the comedy gags are somewhat predictable, but they play out much better than you imagine.
