Is it a good movie?Yes, I love it! But this movie is not for all.
but is it a masterpiece?I don't think it is, because it borrows some of the elements from other films and it really is noticeable.
Does it provoke violence?nah, the message of the film doesn't push you to idolize/romanticize the Joker but merely understand his actions on why he did it.
Does it live through its hype? I was expecting to be this kind of a movie , yeah I think it is, maybe?
Does it affect this society? Umm no. The whole controversy about incel violence is funny, I think the media is overreacting. But it tackles some real world issues like mental health and that I think it is should be ponder upon.
Is it disturbing? For me I wasn't disturbed but for other viewers it maybe. But I've seen more disturbing films than this.
Likes and dislikes? I really like the visuals on this film, the cinematography and especially the Color Grading. I like the pacing of this movie, the movie takes it time in developing the protagonist on becoming The Joker. Joaquin Phoenix acting capability is phenomenal, totally an Oscar worthy performance. Some shoehorn scene that every batman movie used it kinda feels like "they just put that scene there for fan service or whatnot" and it doesn't work in my opinion.
Thoughts? Joker is something more like an artsy film rather than a subjective film. It borrows some elements from Martin Scorsese's films like "Taxi driver", "King of comedy". Also parts from Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke".
Is he better than heath ledger's joker? Both gave phenomenal performance, but I kinda like joaquin's perfomance it is more realistic.
Overall I enjoyed watching it. But this movie isn't your typical comic book movie, it is grounded to the core and it is much a darker side of an elseworld joker origin story. If you are going to watch this film don't expect it to be fun. Joaquin Phoenix best Actor! Wohooo!

20 minutes of this movie people are already walking out. This movie has a lot of issues, the script, narrative, the plot, dialogue, the soundtrack etc. Only good thing about this movie is the CGI. Score 3/10. Worst reboot ever.
Pros:
Cons:
- Jason Momoa as Aquaman/Arthur Curry
- Amber Heard as Mera
- Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master
- Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlana
- Gorgeous and Stunning Visuals
- A+ Cinematography (those long shots are mastefully done)
- Spectacular and well choreographed fight scenes
- Creative World design
- The Trench
- 2nd act is good
- 3rd act is amazing
Cons:
- Black Manta has a shallow backstory and kinda flat
- Cheesy/Awkward moments
- Storyline kinda bloated
- Some parts are too fast, and viewers have little
- Explosions happen before and every encounter and
- The score/ost was a hit or miss
