These guys are lucky, spending their days with these dinosaurs and especially the nice tail surrounding them. Giant racks and beautiful scenery throughout.

Series stays true to the original energy of the first movie, despite the cheese applied to these kids. But obviously it's geared towards kids so if it's not for you, you're probably not the demographic and would be better suited sticking to the movies. The animation improved as the series went along and is quite good. The plots are fine for what they are and keeps you engaged. Just like the movies, the dinosaurs are the real stars, but as mentioned the poppin coconuts and quality trim are the gems!

Not sure why the ratings are low and why so many reviews seem to be from confused viewers. I went into this knowing nothing and did some modest googling while I watched the movie. I did not find it slow, or boring. I found that it flowed exactly how a movie of this subject should flow. It was interesting how they flashed back and forth between the canoe capsize, struggle, and tragedy, and the days leading up to the ill fated canoe trip. I felt I got a good understanding of the group of boys and the leaders and the camp they were attending. Sure there was some short cutting and some questions about the story, but you can never cram everything into a true story. I was happy to learn throughout and after the movie, and I was entertained and sympathetic throughout. Not sure what others were expecting but I was satisfied. Technically, everything was great. Good cinematography, good directing and editing, well written and great acting.
