As most people would say here, this movie is absolute cinema. It was made for the big screen, and it deserves to be seen here. Unlike most anime movies that are just either episodes mashed together in a movie, or just some anime season that was condensed into a movie rushing it to abyss, Chainsaw Man Reze Arc is just pure cinema.
I don't want to spoil anything so I'm trying to avoid discussing the movie, but it has everything, from the fights, to the superb animation, to the slice of life moments that make you think 'what if' and then when you see that end and it breaks your heart, this movie has it all.
Honestly I didn't realize when 100 minutes of this movie passed, but it was just superb. Arguably one of the best anime movies I have ever seen, definitely top 3.
Go see it, Fujimoto gives us a banger and Mappa delivers. Much better than Demon Slayer, and I'm saying that as a person that enjoyed that one also, but CM is just pure cinema.

I'll start with the ending because why not? In all honesty, it left me somewhat conflicted, wanting more, asking myself 'is that all?' admittedly, when all is said and done, the studio adapted everything they wanted and what a fantastic job did they do.
Back to the start, Orb, on the movements of the earth is a work of art, that had me with all types of conflicting emotions. Doubts, regrets, worries, hopes, fear, insecurity but most of all admiration and appreciation for this superb anime. Even if there is no mc, in 25 episodes you will feel so many things and get so attached to the characters that it might not feel real sometimes, and Nowak as the antagonist is one of the best written 'villains' I've seen in years. I've asked myself the questions 'would I have enough courage, conviction, faith' so many times throughout the show to sacrifice myself for my ideas and principles that I've lost count. What a truly remarkable anime it is when I think about it.
The animation is beautiful, voice acting of the highest quality, full of tear jerking moments, it's a slow burner but worth every second. Superb.

As somebody earlier said, "in every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same". With this philosophical sentence, you can form an idea of how the show will go.
Throughout the series we see the growth of the 2 main characters, Reinhart on the empire side and Yang Wenli on the Alliance. The show is beautiful, for a 35 year old anime it still holds up pretty well, battle scenes are decent, animation is beautiful for old school lovers and it's full of philosophical questions. What is the better society to live in? A corrupt democracy or a working autocracy that promotes on merit? Such debates are fascinating to see, and you as the viewer will be faced with many challenges.
As others have said, you can compare it to star wars, to game of thrones, but really this masterpiece is just one of the best works of fiction I have ever seen, and a must see of all anime lovers.
