Saw the rating and remember hearing some hype about it. Wife and I started watching season 1. Acting was meager, no story build up, unlikable characters. Coolige is good in small bits, but can't carry a scene as a main character IMO. Episode 1 was banal. Moved on to season 2.
Slightly better, but lecherous old man, poor overacting, Coolige again acting weird, Plaza did okay, everyone else was weak. BTW - Normal people don't tell their 20 something daughter to "get some dick". What bubble do these writers live in? This drivel was painful to endure and, for me and my wife unwatchable. I did like the scenery on Italian coast. Only thing that piqued my interest before shutting it off.

Just saw the season on Netflix. As other reviewers said it was refreshing to see a Russian production that wasn't gloomy. Very enjoyable to watch the whole season. The characters could have used a little work to develop but first seasons are usually a little weak. Would have loved to have seen more.
I was very interested in this being good. It's really hard to watch. Alba Baptista, the main character, is a horrible actress. It seems she didn't take this role seriously. This stands out when she is interacting with better actors. The dialouge is banal. The sets, plot, lighting, etc. are all good but THE thing you want in a show is good story telling when acting gives life to dialouge. It doesn't happen here. Please replace Alba wuth a new Warriot Nun.
