This show reminds me of the shows of the 80s, in the best possible way. There is so little in the way of appropriate and fun family tv viewing and what a disappointment that Netflix has passed on a season 2 for The Good Cop. I have to say, Netflix is really missing the boat with many of their recent cancellations. This show deserved more episodes.

I have watched a lot of kid's tv over the years with my 8 and 12 year old, and this show is by far my favorite. It often makes me laugh out loud along with having good messages about friendship and family. It seems to be Netflix's version of a Disney Channel show but, unlike most young Disney stars, the two main kids are actually really good actors. My two kids love it and it's nice to have a fun show where we can all watch and laugh together.
